Jen Turbiak Carroll is a senior communications and investor relations strategist with over two decades of experience elevating the visibility of leading life sciences and genomics companies. She most recently led communications and investor relations at Telesis Bio, where she positioned the company’s multi omic and synthetic biology platforms to investors, strategic partners, and the broader scientific community.
Previously, at Pacific Biosciences, she co led the company’s rebrand and directed communications for its $800M acquisition of Omniome. At Illumina, she served as Director of Public Relations and later Director of Population Genomics & Precision Health, driving global media engagement, precision health advocacy, and high impact storytelling to strengthen Illumina’s leadership in genomics.
She currently serves as Senior Director of Communications for the Life Sciences Solutions Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific, shaping strategic messaging that bridges cutting edge biology with clinical and research applications. Earlier in her career, she founded Yellow Picnic Table, providing strategic communications guidance to biotech executives and leadership teams.
