Yatiri Bio Inc. today announced the addition of Dr. Carl Goldfischer to Yatiri Bio’s strategic advisory board.
Dr. Carl Goldfischer has 30 years of investment, and his background includes extensive public and private investment and transaction work, as well as clinical trial development knowledge. From 2000 until 2020 he was a partner and member of the board of directors at Bay City capital and remains and member of their Scientific Advisory Board. In that capacity and subsequently, he has served on the board of directors of numerous private and public companies often serving as Chairman of the Board and /or Audit Committees. He currently serves as the Chairman of Galacto (as of this Monday GLTO will have acquired Bridge Medicines hence not including it) as well serving as an advisor to the Novo Seeds Venture Funds. Prior to joining Bay City Capital, Dr. Goldfischer was the Chief Financial Officer of ImClone Systems where he oversaw financial operations and strategic planning. He received an M.D. with honors in Scientific Research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
